COLUMBIA:    CHEERS to Columbia Fire - Rescue.


The volunteers and administration of the City of Columbia stepped up to the plate and have turned Columbia Volunteer Fire - Rescue around. They are making their calls and in a very timely manner.


When Columbia Rescue is called, within minutes they have the wheels to the ambulance and/or fire engine rolling.


As in volunteers all around the word "volunteer" is growing thinner and thinner. At one time Columbia Volunteer Fire - Rescue was one of those agencies.


However with a team effort from volunteers, Columbia Council Members, Columbia new Mayor, they have rolled their sleeves up and gone to work serving the citizens of Columbia and surrounding area in emergency services as it should be.


So...here is to the men and women in Columbia Alabama...CHEERS TO YOU!!!
