DOTHAN:   Following the last park shooting at Wiregrass Park, Chief Parrish researched and filed application for grant funding for 6 additional police officers to be assigned to our City Parks.  Whether he gets the grant or not, City officials should fund these additional positions.  Dothan is know as a "Playful City". It needs to be safe to play... with a new Commission starting in October and the City working on its current budget, we will see what they do.
