Child Death Under Investigation In Barbour County

BARBOUR COUNTY:     Shortly after the stroke of the midnight on Thanksgiving Day Clayton Rescue transported a 20 month old child to Medical Center Barbour.


Shortly after arrival the 20 month old child was pronounced dead.


As medical and law enforcement officials began the investigation into the cause and manner of death and circumstances, questions surfaced. 


An investigation is underway by Barbour County Sheriff Department, Barbour County Coroner’s Office, Barbour County District Attorney Office, Alabama Department of Human Resour SE and Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
