Clayhatchee, AL: Old Providence Chapel will host Clayhatchee’s annual Christmas celebration on Friday, December 14 at 6:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy an inspiration, unplugged Christmas program that features music by Jeremy Elrod, Music Minister at Providence Baptist Church. Attendees will hear “The Real Christmas Story”, a drama performed by local talent, and the program includes nostalgic moments such as carol singing, a candle lighting ceremony, and a children’s Christmas story. It is rumored that Santa himself will make an appearance with gifts for the children.
Following the program, refreshments will be served across the street at the Rose Cottage. There will be fire pits and a large outdoor Christmas tree, and a photographer will be available to capture special family moments.
This event is free and open to the public. Old Providence Foundation is a nonprofit organization that maintains the historic chapel and makes it available for weddings and community events. More information about the foundation can be found on the web page www.oldprovidencechapel.com.
