Columbia Mayor Expected To Resign Tonight

COLUMBIA:   Columbia Mayor Lanny Lancaster is expected to resign by letter as Mayor of Columbia at Tuesday night's City Council Meeting.


The Mayor Pro Tem is Council Member Rhonda Freeman. Lucky Rhonda 😱😱😱 Freeman will then automatically get the honor of being forced to be the Mayor.


And Freeman will inherit a mess.


Lancaster and his wife have been the center of much controversy for months. While the fire 🔥 has been brewing for months in Columbia recently the top blew of the keg. That was when SARCOA stopped the funding to the Senior Citizens Center because of Forged attendance records.


Mayor Lancaster's wife was the director of the Senior Citizens Center.


Rumors are Mayor Lancaster owns two houses in Columbia. The rumors are he has sold one of them and is in the process of selling the other. Rumors are the Lancasters are moving out of Columbia and out of the State of Alabama.


NOTICE TO POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS:    



Let this be a lesson. Lancaster is prime example. You can go to bed tonight and everyone loves you. Wake up in the morning and you have to leave town 🏃 🏃‍♀️ 


FEMA DOLLARS



Unconfirmed but information is the Town of Columbia got $ 41,000.00 in year 2016 from FEMA. That would have been before Chris Judah became Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management Director.


UNCONFIRMED is the Town of Columbia can not account for $ 16,000.00 of the $ 41,000.00.


We intend to ask that question to the new Mayor.
