CONGRATULATIONS On New Sign For Downtown Dothan

DOTHAN:     The City of Dothan has a new billboard digital sign in downtown Dothan announcing things happening at the Dothan Civic Center and Opera House.

A vast improvement over the last sign. The last sign, no matter how many times you got Dr. Denny to increase your glass strength or Eye Center South to make surgical improvements, you could not see the sign at all.

The sign now is enclosed in a nice brick casing with a clock. The sign can be seen traveling east and west on Main Street. The ones who cut limbs need to cut the limbs at St. Andrews and Main Street where it can be seen.

APPLAUDS go to Dothan for finally, after a decade, in getting a decent sign for viewing. 

Downtown Dothan was booming this weekend with Foster Fest and THE PLANT. A jam packed fun weekend for the residents of Dothan and the guests of Dothan.

The gentleman over Performing Arts, while I have met him, he is not very talkative. In fact, sorry, can’t remember his name. He has been doing a good job in attempting to bring quality entertainment into the Dothan Civic Center and Dothan Opera House.

My Dothan Civic Center listening devices (LOL) tell me he has to catch the wrath of Dothan Civic Center Mike West often. West has to have someone to yell at and his office, well I guess is the closest.

But he is doing a good job from all of the activity in downtown.
