Congratulations To Landon and Ashlyn Jones

SANTA ROSA BEACH FL: On April 21 in Santa Rosa Beach Florida at Eden Garden State Park, two very special people became one.

Landon Jones and Ashlyn Hubbard, in a beautiful wedding ceremony, were united in marriage.

Our Story

How It Began

Landon and I met on a blind date that and we had breakfast at the Waffle House. After our breakfast date, we continued to keep in touch and a couple of months later he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course, I said yes! Little did I know that when I said “yes”, God was giving me my forever to do life with.

The Proposal

Almost five years later, Landon proposed at my all-time favorite place, Eden Gardens State Park in Santa Rosa. Landon’s mother is a photographer so earlier that week she had asked me if would be okay to do a practice photo shoot for her new camera. During our “photo shoot”, I had on a ring that Landon had given me a couple years back for Christmas. I remember him asking me to take off my ring, and while I was in taking off my ring, he had bent down and was on one knee. I could not get “yes” out fast enough. I had been waiting for five years for this moment, and it was beyond perfect. Eden Gardens will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and that is why we chose it to be our venue.

BIG LANDON and ASHLYN

Ashlyn started as a teacher at Bethel Christian Academy. My grandson, Brantley, was honored to have Ashlyn ( Miss Hubbard ) as his teacher.

Brantley loves Miss Hubbard ( now Mrs. Jones ) very much. She has been an outstanding teacher to Brantley. Not only teaching him academics but also teaching him about God.

But along the journey Landon would stop in the school. Brantley formed a bond with Landon calling him Big Landon.

When he would see Big Landon and Ashlyn - they were like magnets with Brantley taking off to them. We also had the opportunity of attending Memphis Baptist Church with Landon.

A very special thank you to Ashlyn for what she has done for Brantley. And thank you to Big Landon for the attention you paid to a 5 year old little guy.

We wish the two of you a great future as you begin your lives together.
