CONGRATULATIONS To Our Daughter Emily and Our New Son In Law Josh

HOUSTON COUNTY:    Late this afternoon we had the great pleasure of our daughter, Emily Stokes and Josh Fails becoming one as the exchanged vows and became husband and wife.

In a beautiful service at Magnolia Bay on Memphis Church Road, Rev. Chris Dunham officiated the wedding service. Chris in married to my niece and the pastor of Cowarts Baptist Church.

Josh and Emily dated in high school. Then they were on and off. Josh's sister and brother in law, Jason and Stephanie McCorkel and myself have discussed many times that Josh and Emily were meant to be together.

Josh joined the United States Marines. When he graduated boot camp Emily joined the Fails family at his graduation ceremony. This past Christmas Josh surprised Emily coming home. Before seeing Emily Josh asked to meet with me. He asked for permission to ask Emily to be his wife. Something I did not have to think long on.

That night with many friends and family looking on, Josh surprised Emily when she showed up at a get together. She had no idea Josh was home. On one knew Josh asked Emily to marry him and she did.

We are very excited, proud and honored that our daughter is now married to Josh Fails. He is a great guy who loves both Emily and Brantley. Josh is a United States Marine. While that is a great and terrific honor and calling, Josh is a great guy who is hard working, sets goals and works towards those goals.

Emily is the best mother a child could have. She is a great person with a kind and gentle heart. She loves people, has a great work ethic, and will be a great companion, friend and wife to Josh.

CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. and Mrs. Joshua ( Emily ) Fails, and to Brantley Kade Bradley, as they begin a new life together.
