DOTHAN: These court cases are scheduled in the 20th Judicial Circuit in Houston and Henry County Alabama:
HOUSTON COUNTY:
HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN LEWIS each morning has initial appearances. These are people who have not made bond. They are required to be seen by a Judge or Magistrate within 48 to 72 hours "of their arrest". Judge Lewis follows the law even when on holidays he or another Judge comes to the Houston County Jail for the initial appearances.
These persons are seen via a TV screen from the jail to the courtroom.
HONORABLE 20th JUDICIAL District-Criminal COURT Benjamin Lewis: has a docket of cases 155 in Traffic it’s are anything from DUI, Speed less 25MHP to Expired Tag. He also had a District-Criminal with a total of 4 cases
HONORABLE 20th JUDICIAL District-Criminal COURT Butch Binford: Had Circuit-Criminal with a total of 21 cases anything from Break/Enter Vehicle, Burglary 1st Degree to Burglary 3rd Degree.
HONORABLE 20th JUDICIAL District-Criminal COURT Kevin Moulton: Had Circuit-Criminal with a total 57 cases with anything from Possess Marihuana, Theft of Property 3rd, Forgery 2nd. He also had District-Criminal with a total of 21 cases these are from anything to Theft of Property 1st, Possess Marihuana 1st.
Henry County:
NO COURT TODAY!!!!!!!!
