Covington County Single Vehicle Crash Leaving One Dead

On August 25 around 9PM a single vehicle crash occurred claiming the life of an Andalusia man. Rodney Virgial Norris, 55, was pronounced deceased at the scene when his 2004 GMC Sierra he was driving left the roadway and struck an embankment. The crash occurred approximately six miles outside the Andalusia City limits on Padgett Rd.
Nothing further is available at this time. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
