DALE COUNTY:      Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum has a beautiful little girl. And she is the apple of her daddy's eye.


Mason Bynum is second in command of the Dale County Sheriff Department.


Earlier this afternoon I heard Chief Deputy Bynum calling on the radio "arriving on the scene" where he was personally responding to and answering a call.


Today is Christmas. And he was giving up his time with his daughter and wife to respond to and answer a call. That shows the dedication of Bynum and the men and women of the Law Enforcement - Fire - EMS and Utility service.


Recently Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson left his daughter's birthday party to respond to an emergency, a shooting.


Emergencies do not pick their victims, locations or times. Emergency responders have to be ready to go.


THANKS to Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum's precious daughter and wife for your understanding of his job. For your willingness for him to serve and protect the citizens and guests of Dale County.
