Dale County Sheriff’s Office Responded to a Drowning over the Weekend

On Sunday, May 6th at approximately 6:00PM Deputies responded to North County Road 59 in the Asbury Community in reference to a drowning. Deputies arrived and initiated CPR until Ozark EMS arrived. The victim was transported to Dale Medical Center and was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival. The victim has been identified as 9 year old Aaron Hamm. The case is ongoing but in the preliminary investigation it appears that the child wondered away from his residence and entered a neighbors swimming pool. 


 


The Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our condolences to the victim’s family during this difficult time.
