Dangerous travel to continue in Alabama

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The WSFA First Alert Weather team has declared a First Alert Weather Day for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning to give you advance notice of dangerous weather conditions.
The snow has ended across Alabama, but the damage has been done. A swath of 1-3" (with localized totals near 4") is on the ground this morning across much of central and south Alabama. Behind the band of snow, bitterly cold air is dropping wind chill values below zero with a breeze blowing that dry snow around.
It's a scene out of Alaska that we think will stick around longer than many might like...
