On Friday 08/18/2017 officers with the patrol division were dispatched to a possible domestic violence call in the 2200 block of Ross Clark Circle. Upon their arrival they made contact with the individuals involved in the altercation. Through their investigation they discovered one of the individuals to be in possession of a large amount of synthetic marijuana (analog).

Vice Investigators responded to the location and took over the investigation. Investigators have arrested and charged 33 year old Mawes Geral McCray, of Carl Street, with Drug Trafficking. Bond has been set at $50,000. The investigation is ongoing.

The domestic violence call was unfounded. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
