Dothan Elks Lodge Presents Checkto the SAMC Foundation

DOTHAN: Today the Dothan Elks Lodge 1887 presented a check to the SAMC Foundation in the sum of $1,389.38. Some of the ways the foundation helps with Breast Cancer is to help provide transportation and other much needed services. The Dothan Elks Lodge recently held an event to help raise the money for the foundation. Dothan Elks Trustee Jim Stanley said, “Breast Cancer affects someone you every day, this money with help.”
The money raised will go help someone locally and make a real difference.
The SAMC Foundation raises funds and awareness for Southeast Alabama Medical Center, the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and Medical Center Barbour through special events, community outreach initiatives, various annual campaigns, tribute gifting, and major donor and planned giving programs.
