Dothan Investigates Fire As Arson

DOTHAN: This morning Bracewell Avenue continues to be blocked by Dothan Police and Dothan Fire Department from two structure fires.
Dothan 911 received calls at 5:34 AM of a structure fire behind a residence on Bracewell Avenue. The fire location was just off Bracewell Avenue on Westfield Avenue.
When Dothan Police and Dothan Fire arrived they found two houses on fire. One house the fire was through the roof and the second had caught on fire because of the first fire.
The original house that caught fire was vacant. It was a rental home that was vacated recently.
This morning Dothan Fire Marshall Investigators, Dothan Police Crime Scene Investigators and Dothan Fire K-9 are on the scene investigating. At this time it is being investigated as a arson.
