COMMENTS

Slaughter classes steady to 3 higher. Replacement pairs and bred cows 150- 200 dollars per head higher. Calves and feeder cattle steady to very firm.Lower quality cattle coming under a little more pressure . Lots of activity in the market with all buyers in attendance, even though it was a light run. I think that speaks well for the demand side, all buyers with good orders and needing cattle. Always a good sign. Our market still looks solid to me, especially with the feedlots staying current and the BEEF moving good. My hope is that this continues and we keep supplies current. Good competition on the sale ring from all buyers. Fed cattle in the west 1-2 higher @ 109-110.50
