COMMENTS
Slaughter classes steady to firm . Replacement pairs and bred cows steady on light supply . Calves and feeder cattle steady to 3 lower on the lighter weights. We are still seeing a very good market with lots of activity and good demand from all buyers. Outlook is good.Demand for our BEEF continues very strong both here and abroad, and this is key. As long as the meat is moving at a steady pace that bodes well for our industry. Fed cattle in the West last week pretty much steady @ 1.26 to 1.27 and once again some auction cattle in Iowa up to 1.34 !!
