COMMENTS
Slaughter classes steady . Replacement pairs and bred cows steady to higher on the better kind. Very light run overall, due to the Holiday and storm. Calves and feeder cattle steady to 5 higher. Futures Market came back strong Friday and the Cattle on Feed Report was neutral at best, putting a positive outlook on the calf and yearling market. They seem to be having trouble locating that Wall of Cattle we have heard so much about. Could it be they were only on paper ? Fed cattle in the West last week almost no trade with a very few trading @ 1.10 to 1.12 and once again some auction cattle in Iowa up to 127.50 !! Look for fed cattle trade to be some higher this week. Thanks for letting us handle your cattle and if we can be of any help, just let us know
