COMMENTS

Slaughter classes 2 to 4 lower .  Replacement bred cows and pairs 150 to 200 dollars per head higher on the BETTER, YOUNG cows. The older, thin cows taking a big hit, just no market.  Calves and feeder cattle steady on the lighter weights and 3 to 5 higher on STEERS and heifers 600 lbs. and up. Sure looks like the market is on the right track.  Fed cattle in the West  holding steady  @  1.24- 1.25.
