COMMENTS

 Slaughter classes steady to 3 higher . Replacement pairs and bred cows steady to very firm . Calves and feeder cattle 5 to 8 dollars higher. Market and buyer demand as good as we have seen in a long time. Market outlook very good with a good strong  undertone, and with very strong BEEF demand around the world as well as here and a very impressive economy!! We could very well see an increase in domestic demand with the TAX CUTS kicking in a few days from now. All things considered, it looks very promising. Fed cattle in the west 4 dollars higher @ mostly 1.27, with some Auction cattle in Iowa reported up to 129.85 !!

NEXT MONDAY, 2-5-18, 33 RED ANGUS HEIFERS, WEANED, WEIGHING 700-800 LBS., READY TO BREED!!
