PHENIX CITY, Ala. — Russell County Coroner confirms to News 3 that officials are working a deadly motorcycle accident on JR Allen Parkway.

The wreck happened on the ramp of JR Allen Parkway at South Railroad around 2 p.m. Friday. Phenix City police tell News 3 that the man fell off JR Allen Pkwy onto South Railroad where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash has yet to be determined at this time.

Phenix City Police Department identity the driver of the motorcycle as Richard Eugene Lee of Dothan, Alabama.

Driver injured in JR Allen Parkway crash expected to recover
