On November 17th at 9:10 am, officers were dispatched to a one vehicle collision in the 6800 blk of J.B. Chapman Rd. The vehicle was a Ford Windstar van traveling westbound on J B Chapman Rd. The vehicle left the roadway and struck multiple trees.
The driver and two passengers succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the van was identified as Jamie Ernsdorf and her three year old daughter of Midland city. The other passenger in the van was identified as Brittany James of Headland, Al.
The crash is being investigated by the Dothan Police Department Traffic Division.
