Dothan School Board Changes Time Line On School Superintendent

DOTHAN:   Kudos to the Dothan School Board. They listened and have changed the time line on School Superitendent.


The timeline has been moved to accept applications through the end of September. They will interview the first two weeks of October and hope to have someone named by The end of October.


The election for School board is in August. Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz is seeking election as School Board Chairman. Some positions on the board are challenged and one the incumbent is not seeking re-election.


This change by the School Board will allow the new board to decide on the Superientendent.
