Dothan's last K-mart to Close it Doors

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) — Dothan's last K-mart is closing its doors. It is one of 72-stores across the country Sears Holding will be closing.


The closures come on top of 180-store closures announced earlier this year. Clearance sales will begin soon, with the stores closing by September.


One other Alabama K-mart location is on the list, in Muscle Shoals. Dothan's other K-mart store closed last year.


Dothan's Sear's Hometown Store will not close.
