DOTHAN, Alabama, July 27, 2017: Naomi and Olive owner, Christy Keyton, welcomes this 2nd year milestone for her store in downtown Dothan. Keyton’s home goods and gift shop on Foster Street is celebrating two years in business with a birthday bash on Saturday, July 29, 2017. From 10:00 am until 5:00 pm customers will enjoy giveaways, goodies, and inspiring home décor demonstrations.

The Birthday Bash is about all things art this year. Shanlie Wolter, a silhouette artist from Glenwood, Alabama, will be creating custom hand-cut silhouettes for party guests. Auburn University student and watercolor artist, Elizabeth Sugg, will also be in-house painting original artwork. Since last year’s party, the store has undergone a few changes, namely the addition of Keyton’s sister store, Bird and Bean Coffee House.

Heirloom baked goods from Filo, a local bakery line featured at the coffee shop, will also be part of the celebration. Filo is owned and operated by WTVY’s Mom’s Everyday Host, Amy Parker, who specializes in baklava, gluten free snacks and other treats. Keyton is grateful for a successful second year in downtown Dothan. “My dream was to share my love for homemaking with others.

Naomi and Olive was named after my grandmothers who taught me so much about that. I hope when people walk in our doors they feel the love we have for what we do. And hopefully they can take a little of that warmth home with them.” she says. ABOUT Naomi and Olive Naomi and Olive is a home goods and gift store located at 140 N. Foster Street in Downtown Dothan.

Started by mother of eight and entrepreneur, Christy Keyton, the store is dedicated to making your home your own unique nest. Visit naomiandolive.com, facebook.com/naomiandolive.com or call 334.792.4006 for more information.
