On August 31, 2018, at 10:30 PM, Enterprise Police Department Patrol Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle involved in a drive-by shooting in the 200 Block of College Street Enterprise, AL  The occupants of the suspect vehicle fired multiple rounds into the Beeline Gas Station and a parked vehicle.

The suspect vehicle refused to stop and EPD Officers pursued the vehicle at high speeds through Coffee County and Geneva County to the Florida state line with assistance from the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office, Samson Police Department, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The suspect vehicle crossed the Florida state line into Walton County and then entered Holmes County.  Law Enforcement Officers from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Highway Patrol, and the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office were able to end the pursuit and take the suspects into custody.

EPD Detectives obtained arrest warrants on the suspects identified as Bailee Nicole Taylor, age 20, of Enterprise, AL; Eric Nathaniel Hicks, age 30, of Enterprise, AL; and Michael Smith, age 21, of Clarksville, TN.

The Enterprise Police Department would like to thank all the assisting law enforcement agencies for their support during this pursuit.
