Drug Investigation Lands 2 in Jail

Dothan, AL - A drug investigation has landed two Houston County men in the Dothan City Jail this week.


Vice officers had been investigating drug sales on Greenwood Drive at the request of concerned residents. Their investigation wrapped up on Thursday, October 5th.


Investigators recovered a half pound of high-grade marijuana. Desmond Patterson, 26, of Cowarts and Brandon Grooms, 28, of Dothan were both arrested on possession of marijuana charges. Officers found marijuana in Patterson’s vehicle and in Grooms’ home.
