DALEVILLE: Daleville Department of Public Safety Chief William Powell has confirmed a armed robbery this morning in Daleville.
Daleville 911 dispatched Daleville Police to Area 6th Bar on Daleville Avenue around 2 AM to an armed robbery.
Initial reports were two people, one with a AR-15 and one with a shotgun, wearing masks, entered the bar and robbed it. While they “thought” they covered all, guess what??!!
Daleville Department of Public Safety requested Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza’s assistance. Sheriff Valenza dispatched K-9 track teams to assist. Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson dispatched deputies from Dale County Sheriff Department to respond and assist.
The track teams did not lead to the apprehension of the suspect(s).

Criminal Investigators with Daleville were on the scene along with patrol units. The investigation is ongoing.

Jones and the members of Enterprise Police and Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton and members of Coffee County Sheriff Department.
