HOUSTON COUNTY:     A Dothan business, Southern Lumber, was in negotiations with Turner Townsend and others of Townsend Building Systems to purchase Southern Lumber according to a lawsuit filed in Houston County Circuit Court.


According to the lawsuit filed Turner Townsend gave his word, in writing, that the financial documents that Southern Lumber gave to Townsend and his co-hearts would be confidential.


According to the lawsuit the sell did not go through. Townsend then opened up Townsend right around the corner from Southern Lumber in Dothan. According to the lawsuit Townsend shared the confidential financial documents with his staff. All customers, profit and loss, and everything. And according to the lawsuit, Townsend and others basically said "get ’em boys" to his staff.


Turner Townsend is a "sitting" Enterprise City Councilman. What makes this interesting is, Townsend started a group in Enterprise called TAKE BACK ENTERPRISE. When I covered this group I smelled some rats. The rat being Turner Townsend.

As I dug into the rat hole, it contained some others. And it was a disguise for Turner Townsend and co-hearts ( another to be named as soon as I get the new wine ) trashing the current leadership.


After the Turner group trashed the administration and yelled "transparency" they sipped their new wine and celebrated. Then Turner and group ran for office and fooled the people of Enterprise into electing them.


And the first council meeting, in front of Coffee County Presiding Circuit Judge Jeff Kelly, he and co-hearts admitted to violating the Alabama Open Meetings law.


This event will unfold in Houston County Circuit Court. It will confirm some of the rat thoughts.
