Enterprise Man Charged with Attempted Theft of Property 1st

On April 7, 2019, the Enterprise Police Department initiated an investigation concerning a fraudulent real estate listing. EPD Detectives were contacted by a victim who advised their residence was fraudulently listed for sale.
On April 19, 2019, at 11:43 AM, EPD Detectives arrested and charged Tony Glen Grimes, age 56, of Enterprise, AL with Attempted Theft of Property 1st. Grimes was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.
This is an ongoing investigation and no additional information will be released.
