Enterprise Man Charged with Rape

The Enterprise Police Department has made an arrest in a recent rape investigation case.  On May 9, 2017, the Enterprise Police Department was alerted by the Department of Human Resources about a possible rape that allegedly occurred between February 2017 and April 2017 in Enterprise, AL. 


On May 12, 2017, EPD Detectives arrested and charged Juan Kinate Smith, age 22, of Enterprise, AL with Rape 1st.  Smith was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.  Smith was an acquaintance of the victim at the time of this offense.  


The details and circumstances of this crime will not be released due to the victim’s status as a juvenile.
