Eufaula Police Officer Arrested on Marijuana Charges

EUFAULA, AL -- (WTVY) A Eufaula police officer is facing drug charges tonight. It's the result of an internal investigation. Officer Dora Bishop was arrested today on a misdemeanor warrant for Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.


Bishop is being held in the Eufaula City Jail awaiting a bond hearing. He has also been placed on leave pending an administrative hearing. Bishop has been employed with the Eufaula Police Department for only 13 months.
