Fire Association Recognizes Commissioner Doug Sinquefield

HOUSTON COUNTY: On Tuesday evening Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director/President of Houston County Volunteer Fire Chief Association Chris Judah recognized District 2 Houston County Commissioner Doug Sinquefield.
Judah made the recognition because Commissioner Sinquefield takes an active role in attending almost every monthly Fire Chief association meeting. He supports the volunteer service. Responds and assists and ministers to those in need.
Several years ago a man took his life in front of a Ashford Police Officer and Houston County Sheriff Deputy. Commissioner Doug Sinquefield left his home at night and responded to the scene to minister to the officers and offer assistance.
When EMA Director Judah first started as EMA Director, a tornado claimed four lives in Rehobeth. Commissioner Sinquefield was on the scene helping.
When a Corrections Officer was assaulted in the Houston County Jail and carried to the hospital. Commissioner Sinquefield left his home at night and responded to the hospital to minister to the corrections officer and he was there for any assistance needed.
When Hurricane Michael struck, Commissioner Sinquefield was there riding this county helping people all he could.
Last New Years when a family lost their home, Commissioner Doug Sinquefield went the next morning, found the residents and checked on them.
When the National Peanut Festival happens, Commissioner Doug Sinquefield is there helping and volunteering his time.
Judah presented a plaque and thanked Commissioner Sinquefield for his help.
