Florida woman ambushed, stabbed by man lying beside Highway 79

HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WDHN) - Holmes County Sheriff's Office is investigating a person of interest related to an incident that occurred late Saturday night.
A woman reported that she was traveling home on Highway 79 just south of Esto when she saw a person lying on the side of the road. She stopped to help and was jumped by the individual.
She later noticed several small puncture wounds to her stomach and was taken to the Doctors' Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released.
One man that fits the victim's description and was traveling down Highway 177 with blood on his shirt.
