Four Houston County Sheriff Employees Received Awards

HOUSTON COUNTY: This morning Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza held a small ceremony and the following people received recognition; 


Three dispatchers received a certificate of recognition for going above and be on handling emergency calls.  Kara Rafferty recieved hers for the shooting in Southeast Houston County.


Misty May and Michelle McRae recieved their awards for the quick action taken when the to deputies were hit by a semi on US 431 in Kinsey. 


Lt. Jackie Smith received the Medal of Merit for aid rendered during the tragic accident where a child lost their life in Downtown Ashford.


Congratulations to all of them on their awards.
