DOTHAN:     Happy thanksgiving everyone, and ESPECIALLY the men and women of the Dothan Police Department for your service during this holiday season.  


You weather the traffic and crowds of Black Friday and the holidays themselves—always remaining professional.


You’re there for the public right on the heals of the National Peanut Festival when you’re tired and our force has been spread thin to cover all of the events.


You work overtime to keep the streets safe from now through the holiday season which takes time away from your families.


So to the officers on the streets; the investigators on call; the dispatchers in the 911 Center and the staff in the Jail, I say thank you and I am proud to be a part of your team.
