GENEVA COUNTY:
Geneva County is exited to announce the launch of our new county wide Emergency Notification System, GC ALERT. This is a web based opt in system powered by EVERBRIDGE that will allow the local Emergency Response Personal to notify you of any safety concern or hazards as well as a “Smart Weather” notification that will automatically reach you no matter where you are in the county.
During registration, you will be able to customize your notification settings to receive text, email, or voice communications. You can add multiple addresses to your account to insure you are receiving information to help keep you and your family safe whether at work, home, or school. You can opt out at any time by deleting your account.
Geneva County Emergency Notification System, GC ALERT, will reach land line phones, basic mobile phones and smartphones as well as communicate with the mobile app.
To receive these notifications, you will need to create an account by visiting the member portal and clicking “sign up”. Once you have created your account you can download the Everbridge App on your smart devise (cell phone or tablet) from your app store. Upon download you will be prompted to "sign in" by using the information you provided in the sign-up portal and you will be linked to the Geneva County Emergency Notification GC Alert System.
This service is free to users, however, data usage charges may apply depending upon your mobile phone plan.
We encourage you to share this information with your friends and family.
