GENEVA COUNTY:         Have you ever met someone that you immediately realized was "for real"?  That they were genuine, they really cared for others, for doing the right thing, for getting something done? 


When you have a chance to meet Weston Spivey, you have just encountered that person. The one who is the real deal, genuine in character, integrity, in common sense, that truly cares for others. 


When you meet Weston Spivey you have met someone full of energy, positive energy, who is about improving the quality of life for others.


Weston Spivey is a candidate for District 1, Geneva County Commission. He is young, smart and wanting to work in his community to make it a better place to live. He has so many ideas, out of the box ideas, to make Geneva County a better place to live.


Weston and his grandaddy embarked on a business venture. And they have been successful. Weston knows what it means to "cool call" customers and sell them your product. Weston knows what it means to put on a coat and tie and meet the influential and put on blue jeans ( where he is more comfortable ) and meet with the working man.


And Weston works. On the farm. As a volunteer fireman in Geneva County. In his community.


Weston has pledged to donate his first year salary as a Geneva County Commissioner to several projects in District 1. Weston said if people in the community can donate their time, energies and money to help serve others and save lives and property, he will do the same. That is why the pledge to give his first years salary to senior citizens, fire departments and other special services in Geneva County District 1.


During the course of the years of RSN I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of people. To interview a lot of people.


I do not think I have met anyone like Weston Spivey. Down to earth, genuine and someone I am proud to call my friend.
