If you can or want to help a family in need?
A Gordon family needs your financial assistance or professional experience in removing a very large tree that fell on their home in the middle of Hurricane Michael.
The home of Jimmy McArdle and his family was partially destroyed when a large tree on the banks of the Chattahoochee River crashed through the roof of their home during Hurricane Michael.
The problem: only a very large crane and/or very experienced tree company with the right equipment will be able to help. The large tree literally sat on the river bank and stood approximately 80 feet tall. The tree sliced completely through the roof of the home and remains there now. There is very little room to operate and no room for error, which also hinders work efforts.
With no help from FEMA in sight, the family (who is still living in the home) must come up with an additional $5,000.00 or more for a crane large enough to lift the enormous tree from their home. Even then, it’ll be a touchy situation.
If you have the equipment and skills necessary to help or God lays it on your heart to contribute financially, please do so. This is a hard working, wonderful family that needs assistance now.
You can contact: Jimmy McArdle @ 334-673-7491 or mail him at 192 Jowers Road in Gordon, AL 36343 to help.
