October 15th was Pregnancy And Infant Loss Rememberance Day.
A day set aside once a year to remember all of the children Lost from miscarriages and from complications at birth including SIDS.
One of the many things I learned from doing the Angel Of Hope Statue at Westgate Park
is that there are so many mothers who lost a child from a miscarriage who grieve every day just like other parents
who lost a child after birth.
Unfortunate as it is...Many Mothers are told “ Well you can always have another one”
Many Moms hide their grief because they feel like no one would understand why
they feel the way they do after losing an unborn child.
I have received many messages from Mothers sharing their stories with me about how
they felt our Society expected Them To Feel After Having A Miscarriage.
Once A Child Is Conceived That Child Is Your Child And The Loss Of That Child No Matter
The Age ...is devastating and heartbreaking to those parents forever.
At The Angel Of Hope Statue At Westgate Park Every Child
From Conception That Is Lost Is Remembered Every Single Day
Not Just One Day Out Of The Year.
I Invite You To Place A Flower At The Angel Of Hope Statue
In Remembrance Of Your Child On Any Day Of The Week Year Round.
Inscribed On The Back Of The Statue Are These Words:
All Our Children Loved, Missed And Remembered
