Grimes Man Charged with Rape

On Monday, June 4th, Deputies were called to a residence in the 200 Blk of Canterbury Farms Rd in Grimes in reference to a sexual assault that had just occurred.


During the investigation deputies learned that the juvenile victim was raped by the suspect while at a residence on Canterbury Farms Rd.


Investigators have charged Clarence Rodgers of Grimes with Rape 1st. Rodgers was placed in the Dale County Jail and posted a $20,000 bond.
