Habitual Traffic Offender Arrested in Jackson County

On Friday, July 13 , 2018, a Patrol Deputy with the JCSO Field Services Division, was traveling on Hwy 73 South, and conducted a traffic stop for an obscured tag.  Upon conducting a check of the driver's Florida Driver's license through NCIC/FCIC, it was learned that the driver had several suspensions, including a habitual traffic offender revocation. The driver, Shannon Devane Kent, was placed under arrest and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
