Harry Wayne Parrish Request To De-Annex From The City Limits Of Dothan

DOTHAN:    Dothan Board of Education Chairman Harry Wayne Parrish has asked the Dothan Commission to de-annex his property from the City of Dothan.


Parrish vacates Dothan School Board Chair at midnight Monday night. At the hour Mike Schmitz becomes “former Mayor of Dothan” but will become Chairman of Dothan Board of Education.


Then during Dothan Commission Administrative Meeting newly elected Dothan Mayor Mark Saliba and fellow commissioners will discuss Harry Wayne Parrish request. According to the agenda for the meeting Dothan City Attorney Len White and Planning and Zoning Director Todd McDonald will Be on hand to answer the questions of the Mayor and Commissioners. 


No reason given in the paperwork of why Parrish wants out of Dothan city limits.
