HOUSTON COUNTY ( HODGESVILLE ) : Can you imagine leaving home to attend a fun filled time at the ballgame in Atlanta - only to return home with everything destroyed and gone?
That is what happened to a young couple that lives on Cecil Varnum Road off Harper’s Joy Road in Houston County.
On Sunday evening Kyle and Traci Kimble, along with their son Hudson, left their home to travel to Atlanta. Only to be called this morning that their home had been destroyed by fire. Two cats also lost their lives in the fire.
Hudson will be one year old on January 3.
Kyle works at McClains’s and Traci is a ad specialist with the Dothan Eagle. ANd they lost everything except what was packed in their suitcases for travel.
We have their sizes and started to post them. But I decided it would be better for people to donate money of gift cards for this family. Others picking out clothes and under clothes, it is best for the financial help for this family to get re-established.
A point of contract: Kayle Felch at 334-796-5733 or contact the Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management Office at 334-794-9720.
HuDyson is a size 4 diapers. But again a few dollars here and there add up. You can drop some of the gift cards at the Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management Office located at 405 East Adams Street and we will make sure the family gets them.
