Henry County - Two Important Races - Please Pray About Sheriff Race Before Casting Your Vote

HENRY COUNTY:    The registered voters of Henry County are scheduled for voting on Tuesday, November 6. The polling locations open at 7 AM and close at 7 PM.


The November 6 election is a General Election. You can vote for anyone on the ballot and even write in names. You are not required to vote a straight party ticket and you are not required to vote Democrat or Republican.


Be sure and look at each race and each name. Very important DO NOT mark a straight party ticket but mark individual names on each race.


Two important contested races.


Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox is seeking re-election as Sheriff. Sheriff Maddox is being challenged by Jay Henry. Please locate Will Maddox name on the ballot and mark his name. DO NOT vote straight party ticket.


This past Friday some very underhanded and low moves were made by the Jay Henry Camp that were outside the bounds of a political race. This is dirty and underhanded and the registered voters of Henry County need to pray very hard about the Sheriff race and your selection. Until that point I had stayed out of the Sheriff Race. But the actions were underhanded and cannot be tolerated. If these actions are done as a candidate, what levels will a person go to once in office. Integrity is important in the Sheriff race.


Alabama House of Representative Member Dexter Grimsley is being challenged by Ron Wilson. 


Picture identification is required in order to vote. Every vote counts and please be sure and vote.
