Jeff Golden has been performing for the last month at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder Louisiana. Entertainment director for the state’s largest casino, Jay Treece, first saw Golden over 20 years ago at Spudz Nightclub in Opelika Alabama. Although the two never met back then, Treece remembered Golden and suggested to producer/entertainer, Ryan Pelton, that he should try to find Jeff Golden and just see if he would be interested in performing in a classic country music show at the Coushatta Casino. Pelton called and asked if Golden would be interested in portraying Conway Twitty in the nightly shows at the Casino. Without hesitating Golden said, "Yes...Of course!" These types of shows are something that Golden had really wanted to be a part of for many years. The show featured Jeff Golden as Conway Twitty, George Trullinger as Hank Williams Sr, and Emily Portman as Loretta Lynn. The three are featured with a 5 piece band along with backup singer/stage manager, Amy Pelton. Jeff really loved performing at the Coushatta and can’t wait to be entertaining there again soon. Plans are to continue this show and other shows at this location and at different locations throughout the nation. Some clips of the classic country show can be seen on Jeff Golden’s Facebook. Now home in Dothan for the holidays, Golden will be doing a one night only variety of music show for his local fans in the ballroom at the VFW Post 6020 in Daleville Alabama on Monday December 31, Jeff Golden and Band will bring in 2019 with a New Year’s Eve party. Jeff and the band will play from 8pm-1am. FREE BREAKFAST, FREE PARTY FAVORS, FREE CHAMPAGNE AT MIDNIGHT and this is a Smoke Free venue. Everyone is welcome! You do not have to be a member to attend.
