TAYLOR:    This afternoon live power lines kept volunteer fireman at a distance.

On Horne Road in Taylor tree limbs fell across power lines which pushed them to the ground. Taylor Volunteer Fire arrived on the scene and called Alabama Power to the scene to cut power. Once Taylor arrived they called for mutual aid assistance from Bay Springs Volunteer Fire Department.

Once the power was cut off fireman put the fire out.

The Town of Taylor backhoe was on the scene. After the power was off the backhoe driver pulled the down tree off the power lines and off the road.

On the scene - Taylor Police, Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah and Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza.
