Sheriff Donald Valenza would like to remind the Citizens of Houston County when applying for or renewing your concealed carry permit, there are two ways to fill out the proper Pistol Permit Application.


1: You can fill out the application at the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, 144 North Oates St. Dothan, Alabama.


2: You can fill out the application online at: houstoncountysheriff.org


If you apply online, you will be notified via e-mail when it is approved and ready for you to come to the Sheriff’s Office to pick up.


If you go online and it is not houstoncountysheriff.org you may be paying a fee to be a member of an organization and not obtaining a legal Houston County concealed carry permit.
