HOUSTON COUNTY: The registered voters of Houston County are able to report to the assigned polling place on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 7 AM. The polls will remain open until 7 PM.
Picture ID's are required in order to vote.
The election on November 6 is a General Election. This means the registered voters are able to cast votes for Republican Candidates, Democrat Candidates, Independent Candidates or write in names on races.
Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza does have a Democratic opponent. Please be sure and vote for Sheriff Donald Valenza.
Alabama House of Representative Dexter Grimsley is challenged by Ron Wilson. A small portion of the that house seat is in Houston County with the majority being in Henry County. Grimsley has served several terms in the Alabama Legislature.
Alabama House of Representative Paul Lee has a unknown candidate running against him for reelection.
Several Amendments on the ballot in Houston County: from some political persons who monitor these amendments it was recommeded of voting YES.
Each vote counts.
